FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining the parameters of temperature and body weight within the first 24 hours of life. The body temperature is measured after birth (To.b) and after 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24 hours (To.), and the body weight after birth (Mo.b) and after 24 hours (Mo.). Then the mean value of the body temperature of each animal in terms of time is calculated, and 1-24 hours after birth
EFFECT: use this method enables to reduce the time and to improve the level of reliability of the study results.
