FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used as vehicle transmission. Infinitely variable speed transmission consists of synchronously operating bevel driving pinion-shafts and a pair of synchronously operating bevel driven pinion-shafts. The pinions represent tapered cones with teethed side surface. The driving pinion-shafts are located with their vertices being oriented in one direction in parallel with generatices of side surfaces, the driven pinion-shafts are located with their vertices being oriented in one direction oppositely to driving pinion-shafts. Torque transfer from driving pinion-shafts to driven pinion-shafts is implemented via idler pinion the width of which is less than teeth helix pitch distance. The pinion-shafts are included in kinematical connection with idler pinion so that during operation at least one driving pinion-shaft and one driven pinion-shaft could engage with idler pinion.
EFFECT: simplification of infinitely variable speed transmission design and manufacturing process.
