PACKAGE FOR MANIPULATING CUVETTES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N35/02

Abstract RU 2556735 C2

FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a package (kit) for manipulating cuvettes, which can be used to load cuvettes packaged in the form of such package, in the device (tool), and also for protection of the cuvettes during storage and transportation, and as a substrate for labelling of different types. The claimed package for manipulating cuvettes comprising: a series of cuvettes (10) formed by a plurality of reaction vessels, in which the reaction vessels (28) are located close to each other so that between them there is a common wall, at that the long sides of the cuvettes (10) are straight, which enables to place the cuvettes in sequence in the form of a continuous row, in which the long sides of the cuvettes located sequentially are closely adjacent to each other, and a band (100) fixed to the surface near the openings of the reaction vessels of the cuvettes (10), which can be removed before use, at that the band connects a row of the cuvettes in the form of a continuous package for manipulating, while at both ends of each cuvette (10) there is a bracket (30) having an upper surface (32), and the distance between the ends of the brackets is determined by the width of the cuvette package, at that the brackets are designed to retain the cuvette while removing the connecting band and releasing the cuvettes from the package, the connecting band (100) overlaps the entire width of the upper surface of the row of the reaction vessels, and on the connecting band (100) there is a fixing part which surface has a smaller width than the distance between the ends of the brackets (30).

EFFECT: ensuring maximum hygienic and optical purity of the cuvettes, as well as preventing their mechanical damage, increasing reliability of the measurement results obtained, and providing the reliable functioning of the cuvettes.
