FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of biotechnology, microbiology and immunology. factor H-binding protein (fHBP) was claimed for application in immunisation against meningococcus of serogroup B ('MenB'). Said antigen can be effectively adsorbed on adjuvant aluminium hydroxyphosphate by (i) providing adsorption realisation at pH value, equal or lower than point of zero charge (PZC) of adjuvant, and/or (ii) selection of fHBP and adjuvant with isoelectric point/PZC in range from 5.0 to 7.0 and/or (iii) selection of fHBP with isoelectric point higher than adjuvant PZC with application of buffer to bring pH to interval within 1.2 pH units from PZC. Adsorption, in particular, can be used with respect to compositions, which include a large number of fHBP versions, as well as in situations, when it is necessary to avoid application of aluminium hydroxyphosphate adjuvant. Buffered pharmaceutical compositions can include at least two different meningococcal fHBP antigens, both of which are at least by 85% adsorbed on aluminium hydroxyphosphate adjuvant.
