FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: canned food product is a tin can. The said can contains one or more hydrocolloid dispersions occupying the can interior and a meat emulsion enveloping one or more hydrocolloid dispersions. Each of the one or more hydrocolloid dispersions is a gel or a fluid sol. Also, one or more hydrocolloid dispersions contain xanthan gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, gum konjac, guar gum, agar, gum arabic, locust bean gum, cassia gum, acacia gum, alginate, or a combination thereof.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain a new canned food product for a companion animal with increased palatability.
