FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to immunology and biotechnology. An isolated anti-hepsin antibody is claimed, where the antibody binds with hepsin in the complex, containing hepsin and a serin protease inhibitor, which binds subsite S1 of the human hepsin. The antibody is characterised by the presence of 6 CDR: HVR-H1, containing the sequence GFNFSYSYMH; HVR-H2, containing ASIYSYYGSTYYADSVKG; HVR-H3, containing ARSDSWSYKSGYTQKIYSKGLDY; HVR-L1, containing RASQSVSSAVA; HVR-L2, containing SASSLYS; HVR-L3, containing QQYYSSYYLLT. Nucleic acid, coding the antibody, is described.
EFFECT: application of the invention provides the novel antibody, the monovalent form of which binds with the human hepsin with an affinity equal 10 nM or better, while with the mouse hepsin - with an affinity lower or equal 330 nM.
