SUBSTANCE: first version of the method involves using haemostatic components configured as a set of flexible members that are bandages shaped as parallelepipeds of different thicknesses. One lateral side of the bandages adjacent to a patient are configured to have a concave surface contoured as the hip. Accessory bandages used to intensify pressure and arranged between bed rails and main bandages are configured as parallelepipeds of a smaller thickness. The patient is preliminarily placed on a standard functional bed with side rails. The patient's body is fixed on both sides by the bandages with the concave surface, placed on a lateral surface of the hip within the operated hip joint. A soft tissue pressure is generated by means of the accessory bandages. The haemostatic effect is additionally created by placing ice packs within the projection of the hip joint. The second version of the method is related to using hollow bandages configured as parallelepipeds of adjustable dimensions. The soft tissue pressure is generated by means of a pump for the dimensional change of the bandages.

EFFECT: reducing the postoperative blood loss by only compressing the soft tissues within the operated region of the joint.
