SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles. Vehicle comprises an internal combustion engine; catalyst located in outlet channel, oxidizing unburnt fuel and configured to accumulate oxygen and electronic control module. Electronic control module, when determines that engine stop condition is set, stops fuel injection and increases amount of oxygen flowing into catalyst. Engine shutdown condition is a condition for stopping operation of internal combustion engine. Preset amount of oxygen increase exceeds the increased portion of oxygen flowing into the catalyst, which is increased by stopping fuel injection.

EFFECT: reduced volume of unburnt fuel.
