FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The valve control device (10) of internal combustion engine for controlling the operations of opening and closing the engine valve (12) contains the central yoke (14), the first neighbouring yoke (18), the second neighbouring yoke (20), the set of cams and the double synchronising pin (38). The central yoke (14) is installed on the axis (16) of yokes. The rotary movement of the central yoke (14) results in rectilinear movement to the valve (12) for its opening and closing. The first neighbouring yoke (18) is installed with a possibility of rotation on the axis (16) of yokes from the first side of the central yoke (14). The second neighbouring yoke (20) is installed with a possibility of rotation on the axis (16) of yokes from the second opposite side of the central yoke (14). The set of cams is rotated synchronously with the engine rotation. The set of cams includes the first cam (24) and the second cam (26). The first cam (24) is intended for ensuring rotation of the first neighbouring yoke (18) around the axis (16) of yokes according to the first cam (24) profile. The second cam (26) is intended for ensuring rotation of the second neighbouring yoke (20) around the axis (16) of yokes according to the second cam (26) profile. The double synchronising pin (38) is intended for selective synchronisation of the rotary movement of the central yoke (14) at least with one first neighbouring yoke (18) or with the second neighbouring yoke (20). The double synchronising pin (38) has the first state in which the rotary movement of the first neighbouring yoke (18) from the first cam (24) is transferred to the central yoke (14), the second state in which the rotary movement of the second neighbouring yoke (20) from the second cam (26) is transferred to the central yoke (14), and the third state in which the rotary movement is not transferred neither from the first neighbouring yoke (18), nor from the second neighbouring yoke (20). Options of valve control units and the method for synchronisation of yokes of the engine valve are described.

EFFECT: decrease of inertial mass of the system of yokes.
