FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-based coating systems and can be used for production of hard, wear-proof rigid protective coating on wide range of substrates. Proposed process comprises the steps whereat cargo container of one or more its components are made. Note here that a part of container surface subjected to aggressive external medium includes at least one alloy of stainless steel. Used is at least water composition of coating to make the coating of substrate subjected to external effects. Note also that coating water composition contains ingredients including water carrier, film-forming resin containing styrene-acryl emulsion in the mix with water carrier and one or more pigments dispersed in water composition of coating.
EFFECT: fine adhesion, anti-bubbling properties, high resilience and hardness; coating can be applied on stainless steel surface with mid ply of primer.
