EXCITER CIRCUIT OF LIGHT-EMITTING DIODES, LIGHTING DEVICE AND EXCITATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H05B33/08

Abstract RU 2711235 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to circuits of light-emitting diodes (LED) exciters and excitation methods. Result is achieved by the fact that the first LED driver circuit comprises: a first input interface (30) for receiving AC power and providing a first output, wherein said first output is adapted to be connected to a second LED driver circuit; first LED driver (32), powered by a first output; first short-circuiting element (36) for short-circuiting first output; first control device (38) for controlling the first short-circuiting element, wherein the first control device (38) is configured to close the first short-circuiting element (36) for only one subset of the half-cycles of the AC power supplied for the purpose of short-circuiting the first LED driver (32) and preventing powering of the first LED driver (32) by AC power supplied when the second LED driver circuit is powered by the supplied AC power in addition to the non-energized first LED driver (32), and opening of first short-circuiting element (36) during another subset of half-cycles to make it possible to feed first exciter (32) of LEDs with AC power supplied, when the second LED exciter circuit is not powered by the supplied AC power in addition to the first LED driver (32); wherein the half-cycle is the duration of the positive amplitude or duration of the negative amplitude of the supplied AC power.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of positive feedback and potential imbalance of input voltage on each lamp during serial connection.
