FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: treatment of steel plate by grit is performed with creation of the plastic deformation intensity in centre of the grit dents, equal to limit uniform deformation during tension of the steel plate material, εp, and with thickness of strengthened layer on surface of the steel plate, hs. At that treatment is performed by grit, which diameter D and initial impact force acting on the steel plate V are determined as per relationships: and where D is diameter of grit, mm, V is initial speed of grit impact over the steel plate, m/s, "НД" initial static plastic hardness of the steel plate material, Pa, hs is thickness of hardened layer on surface of the steel plate, mm, k is coefficient of grit speed restoration at the impact, equal to 0.909, εu is limit uniform deformation during material tension of the steel plate, η is dynamic coefficient of plastic hardness of steel late equal to 1.5, ρ is density of grit material, kg/m3.
EFFECT: increased durability of hardened plate.
