FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the heat exchange unit for rotary regenerative heaters. The heat exchange unit contains a set of heat exchange elements stacked with spacing. Each flute from the set of flutes of one of heat exchange elements rests on the respective flat sections from the set of flat sections of adjacent heat exchange elements to form a set of closed channels isolated from each other. Each channel is designed so that each corrugated section from a set of corrugated sections of one of heat exchange elements faces towards the respective wavy section from a set of wavy sections of adjacent heat exchange elements.
EFFECT: increase of power and efficiency of heat exchange, improvement of a soot blowing and improvement of anti-corrosion protection is provided.
