FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: values of the coefficient are determined using the tested vehicle during its movement on the support surface under lead transient mode of movement as per values of average fuel consumption of the engine and ensured average speed of movement, and coefficient of proportionality n, determined as per equation where ΨA is coefficient of resistance of motion on road with even solid pavement; Vq is speed corresponding to reference fuel consumption, km/h; qk is reference fuel consumption, l/100. Coefficient ΨA is determined as per sum of coefficients of rolling resistance fo and air resistance fw.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of coefficient of total resistance of motion for test roads rating upon changeable and unstable characteristics, especially of unpaved road.
