FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coating by fluid spraying. This system comprises applicator head to apply coating of water-based carrier fluid with content of solid substances and to remove excess carrier-fluid by rarefaction. Besides, this system comprises first and second steam outlets functionally connected with steam source. Steam outlets can direct steam to applicator head to prevent carrier-fluid accumulation on applicator head. First steam outlet is located at first angular position relative to applicator head axis. Second steam outlet is located at second angular position relative to applicator head axis. First angular position differs from second one. In compliance with second version, this system can comprises steam feed manifold functionally connected with steam source and arranged at applicator head. Steam feed manifold comprises multiple first holes to direct steam to at least two peripheral sides of applicator head to prevent carrier-fluid accumulation on applicator head. Coat application process comprises the step whereat applicator head is provided. Besides, at least two steam outlets are arranged adjacently to two peripheral sides of applicator head. Then, at least two steam outlets are connected to steam source via one steam feed pipe. Besides, applicator head is actuated for application of coat of carrier-fluid on the blank to remove excess carrier-fluid by rarefaction. Then, steam is discharged via at least two steam outlets at actuation of applicator head.

EFFECT: easier servicing, higher quality of fluid for coating, invariable fluid properties.
