FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biochip for typing the viruses Lassa (LASV), Junin (JUNV), Machupo (MACV), Guanarito (GTOV) and the viruses Ebola (EBOV) and Marburg (MARV), and also a method of typing these viruses. The characterised biochip comprises hybridisation probes attached covalently directly to a micromatrix, having a structure of discriminating DNA-polynucleotides. The proposed method is based on the polymerase chain reaction of cDNA viruses, followed by the hybridisation of amplicons fluorescently labelled with the biochip comprising the discriminating hybridisation probes.
EFFECT: present inventions enable to determine all known subtypes of viruses LASV, JUNV, MACV, GTOV, EBOV and MARV.
