FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for detecting Mammarenavirus guanaritoense virus using the DETECTR method, involving extraction of RNA from biological samples followed by detection of target RNA fragments of the viral genome. Method comprises performing isothermal recombinase polymerase amplification with reverse transcription, combined in one test tube with fluorescent detection, by preliminary spatial separation of reaction mixtures for amplification of nucleic acids and fluorescent detection DETECTR in a test tube, followed by their mixing, using LbaCas12a nuclease, primers and a probe.
EFFECT: wider range of products used for diagnosing, monitoring and preventing possible future epidemics, providing reliable diagnosis of the presence of Mammarenavirus guanaritoense virus RNA.
