FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection and monitoring in various media including that of down-hole. In compliance with this method, indicator in well component is fitted therein so that material sufficient erosion initiates the indicator release. Note here that said indicator is built in sand filter bed. Actuated is the system for monitoring of erosion effect on said indicator, hence, for monitoring of well component erosion. Flow rate in the well is adjusted proceeding from the data received from monitoring system. Monitoring system is arranged so that it can be operated jointly with said indicator while monitoring system detects effects on said indicator.

EFFECT: possibility to control flow rate intensity on the basis of monitoring system output data.
