FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drops generation and can be used for synthesis of balls (or spheroids) of nuclear fuel materials. In this process fluid jets are forced to collide with substrate at preset relative velocity to develop vibrations in substrate in at least one vibration frequency. Besides, said substrate is heated to collision temperature whereat liquid film produce in collision and subjected to vibration is heated to main temperature for combination formation of main drops from said film. Then, drops are displaced through the system of transfer/deceleration/sorting in direction of the main drops fluid deposition. Displacement is performed at displacement temperature. Set of parameters is used including relative velocity of collision, vibration frequency, main temperature and displacement temperature and grain size of formed main drops is simulated as well as their velocity. Invention covers also the device for described process implementation.

EFFECT: drops generation brought about by disintegration of thick fluids, application of settling or other phenomena, expanded range of grain sizes.
