FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite oxide catalyst, used for catalytic vapour-phase ammoxidation of propane or isobutane, where said catalyst contains a composite oxide of formula MoiVaSbbNbcWdZeOn (1) wherein component Z is one or more elements selected from La, Ce, Pr and Yb; each of the indices a, b, c, d, e and n is the atomic ratio of the element per atom of Mo; 0.1≤a≤0.24, 0.1≤b≤0.25, 0.01≤c≤0.3, 0≤d≤0.2, and 0≤e≤0.1; the atomic ratio a/b 0.85≤a/b<1.0, and the atomic ratio a/c is 1.4<a/c<2.3. The invention also relates to a method of producing a composite oxide catalyst, where said method includes steps (I) to (V): (I) preparing a solution containing the feedstock, which contains Mo, V, Sb, Nb, W and Z, wherein the atomic ratio a of V to one atom of Mo is 0.1≤a≤0.5, the atomic ratio b of Sb to one atom of Mo is 0.1≤b≤0.5, the atomic ratio c of Nb to one atom of Mo is 0.01≤c≤0.5, the atomic ratio d of W to one atom of Mo is 0≤d≤0.4, and the atomic ratio e of Z to one atom of Mo is 0≤e≤0.2; (II) drying the solution containing the feedstock to obtain dry powder; (III) preroasting the dry powder to obtain a preroasted product; (IV) main roasting the preroasted product to obtain a roasted product having protrusions on the surface of particles; and (V) removing the protrusions on the surface of particles of the roasted product using an air current, where the degree of reduction of the preroasted product is 8-12%, and the specific surface area of the roasted product is 7-20 m2/g. The invention also relates to a method of producing a saturated nitrile using said composite oxide catalyst.
EFFECT: improved functional capabilities of the catalyst.
