FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for burning precursors of oxide catalysts. Device comprises a rotating furnace with a calcination tube having open ends at both terminals; a pair of hoods, each hood covering each open end of calcination tube; and a pair of rings, each ring sealing a gap between calcination tube and hood, wherein rings are directly or indirectly fixed on an outer surface of calcination tube; a groove is provided along a circumferential direction of ring at a contact surface side between ring and hood; a sealed chamber surrounded by hood and groove is formed; and both calcination tube and rings rotate in a circumferential direction of calcination tube while keeping hood in contact with both sides of groove. Invention also discloses a method of producing an oxide catalyst in said device, a method of producing unsaturated acid and a method of producing unsaturated nitrile using a catalyst obtained using said method in said calcination device.
EFFECT: ensuring long-term maintenance of inner space of furnace in atmosphere of inert gas.
