FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering. The method includes dissolving succinic acid in distilled water at 20°C, filtering the undissolved succinic acid and adding low-molecular weight chitosan to the obtained solution, holding while stirring at a rate of 200 rpm for 2 hours. Ethanol is added at the end of the reaction, followed by centrifuging. The solid residue is filtered and dried in a vacuum drying cabinet at 30°C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain chitosan succinate nanoparticles.
