FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a genetic structure intended to be introduced to Yarrowia lipolytica chromosome of RecA gene from Bacillus subtilis. The proposed structure is characterised by SEQ ID NO 1 sequence. Addressing of RecA recombinant protein in a mitochondrion occurs due to leader sequences of mRNA of SOD2 gene, which have affinity for the outer surface of mitochondria and provide for co-translational transport of RecA inside mitochondria.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining recombinant producers carrying transgenes in a mitochondrial genome and is intended to create a genetic modification system of the mitochondrial genome in vivo for the purpose of curing of genetic mitochondrial human diseases.
