SUBSTANCE: method relates to production of a nanosized system for delivering azidothymidine triphosphate to mammalian cells and includes modifying a carrier in the form of commercial-grade amino-containing silicon dioxide nanoparticles with a size of less than 20 nm by suspending the latter in dimethyl sulphoxide containing 5% triethylamine to final concentration of 50-100 mg/mol, followed by treating the obtained suspension with an equal volume of 5% N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of 5-(propynyloxy)-5-oxopentanoic acid or 10% pentafluorophenyl ester of 6-propynyloxyhexanoic acid in dimethyl sulphoxide and subsequent immobilisation of azidothymidine triphosphate on the obtained alkyne-modified nanoparticles.

EFFECT: shorter duration of the method and improved functional capabilities of the end product.
