FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: at assessment of weight of a vehicle, the first weight m₁ of the vehicle is calculated. It is determined whether loading/unloading of the vehicle was performed or not. And the second weight m₂ of the vehicle is assessed on the basis of information on its previous weight. Detection of the fact whether loading or unloading was performed takes place on the basis of signals from accelerometers installed in the vehicle. Besides, the invention proposes a device for assessment of weight of the vehicle, a method of weight application in the vehicle, and a motor vehicle.

EFFECT: achievement of weight assessment of immobile vehicles or vehicles moving along soft or uneven surfaces.
