SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for prediction of vehicle behavior. Method of prediction of vehicle behavior for route prediction, on which the target vehicle will move along the considered vehicle, using the sensor in order to detect the position of the target vehicle. Method comprises steps of obtaining a road structure near the target vehicle position, including at least a lane, obtaining a traffic rule for a road structure, determining whether or not the target vehicle is in place, extracting several possible routes for direction, in which the target vehicle will move, based on the road structure and if the target vehicle stands still, a route is predicted, on which the target vehicle will move, from several possible versions of routes based on the traffic rule.

EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driving is achieved.
