SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an orthodontic device and methods of facilitating training dentists given technique of endodontic treatment. Device comprises a dental drill tip (2) configured to attach to it endodontic instrument (4) for insertion into a tooth root canal, measuring unit (9) for measuring a specific parameter characterizing the position of endodontic instrument (4) in the root canal and computation-display unit (5) for displaying a graph reflecting a gradual change of said specific parameter measured by measuring unit (9) in endodontic treatment using endodontic instrument (4). Method according to the present invention comprises the following steps: displaying a graph using computation-indicator unit (5) reflecting a gradual change of a certain parameter measured in treating a root canal performed by a dentist, wherein said parameter characterizes position of endodontic instrument in root canal, and use of reference graph reflecting features of specified endodontic technique, with possibility of comparing said graph reflecting gradual change of measured parameter with said reference plot.
