FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in emission control systems for internal combustion engines (ICE). Proposed method is intended for detection of petrol vapour adsorber (3) blow valve (4) locking for hybrid vehicle containing at least one ICE (1) and one electric motor. The method contains phase of operation by electric motor during ICE actuation to keep the mentioned ICE in operating mode with constant rpm in start phase or before stop and at least one sequence of following phases: phase of blow valve (4) opening; phase of measuring at least one working parameter of electric motor; phase of comparing values of parameter measured before and after blow valve (4) opening and determination if the change of mentioned parameter exceeds set threshold. Invention covers also the device to this end.
EFFECT: technical result consists in higher accuracy of blow valve diagnostics, simplification and cheapening of the system.
