METHOD OF STIMULATING RECOVERY OF DAMAGED TISSUE INNERVATION Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC C12N15/00

Abstract RU 2563541 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of genetic engineering and genetic therapy and can be used for the stimulation of the growth and regeneration of nerves and the recovery of innervations of ischemic tissues. The invention represents a method for the stimulation of the recovery of damaged tissue innervations in mammals with the application of a gene, coding an urokinase type plasminogen (urokinase, uPA) activator, optimised for expression in mammalian cells. The invention also deals with a plasmid construction, containing the said optimised urokinase gene and the Kozak sequence.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to accelerate the recovery of the structure and conductivity of peripheral nerves after traumas and ischemia by the transfection of muscles, innervated by the damaged nerve.
