SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to pharmaceutical industry, in particular to method of obtaining substance; to substance, possessing antimicrobial, antiviral and immunostimulating activity with respect to dendrite cells, and to pharmaceutical composition, possessing antimicrobial, antiviral and immunostimulating activity with respect to dendrite cells. Method of substance obtaining consists in the following: potato shoots are subjected to water extraction, after which water extract is separated from sediment with the following addition of salt agent with further concentration, solution is frozen, defrosted, filtered, sediment is removed, and complex raw biopolymer is precipitated from solution by means of acidic salt agent with its further processing with alkali solution, then alkaline solution is dialysed against distilled water on filter and complex biopolymer is separated from obtained solution by means of gel permeation chromatography. Substance, obtained by said method, represents complex biopolymer, containing polysaccharide, peptide and lipid parts. Pharmaceutical composition contains said active substance in effective quantity and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or filler.

EFFECT: inventions make it possible to obtain plant-derived substance of polysaccharide nature with good output, readily soluble in water and possessing high antiviral, antimicrobial and immunostimulating activity with respect to dendrite cells, as well as to prepare thereof-based pharmaceutical composition, possessing high pharmacological activity.
