FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: in the method the tapping from the steel-smelting unit, adding of deoxidants and liquid slag of previous melting are performed. During metal pouring from the steel-smelting unit into steel ladle the silicon and manganiferous ferroalloys are added in number up to 80 kg/t of steel, after metal pouring it is poured above by liquid slag of previous melting in number of 0.5-32.0 kg/t of steel, then the metal is treated in the unit furnace-ladle, during which silicon carbide and calcium carbide are added in number of 0.5-2.5 and 0.2-0.6 kg/t of steel respectively and the following ratios in steel are provided: [Mn]/[Si]≥3 and [Mn]/[S]≥20, where [Mn], [Si], [S] - the content of manganese, silicon and sulphur in metal, respectively, %.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce cost of steel production at the same level of its quality.
