FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be used in the production of vanadium-containing steels. The release of steel into the steel ladle is carried out at a steel temperature of 1600-1730°C for 2-14 minutes, the addition of oxide vanadium-containing material is carried out before filling 1/2 of the steel ladle in the amount of 0.1-5.0 kg per ton of steel in the form closed containers weighing 5-100 kg each, silicon- and/or manganese-containing ferroalloys are also added in an amount of up to 50 kg per ton of steel, lime in an amount of up to 15 kg per ton of steel, or silicon- and/or manganese-containing ferroalloys are added in an amount of up to 50 kg per ton of steel, after which the subsequent out-of-furnace processing of the steel is carried out.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the cost of steel production while maintaining its quality due to a satisfactory content of non-metallic inclusions.
