SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of folds determination. A device of folds determination includes: a light projector, which during movement relative to a multilayer object formed by means of laying of electrodes and separators, projects a slot light to the extreme external one of the separators, the light is also projected at a camera, which records the form of the slot light on the separator; and a control module, which calculates the gradient of the separator on the basis of the recorded form of the slot light and determines the availability of the fold on the basis of the calculated gradient.
EFFECT: possibility to identify a fold on the basis of its gradient.
