FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to needle unit. Needle unit contains needle bushing, which has needle with distal end, ring for needle protection in condition of storage or in condition of finishing needle unit application, foldable element for protective ring travel, shifting means for transferring of foldable mechanism from folded configuration into extended configuration, holding means for supporting shifting means in intermediate loaded condition at least when needle unit is in storage condition, deactivating means for release of mentioned holding means at the end of injection stage. Invention also relates to injection device, which contains such needle unit and reservoir, blocking means for supporting said foldable means in their extended configuration when needle unit is in condition of finishing application; with said system of safety ensuring containing at least mobile ring, connected with said needle bushing by said shifting means, with said mobile ring being made with possibility of translational movement relative to said needle bushing between proximal position, in which translational movement and revolution of said mobile ring are restricted relative to said needle bushing and in which mobile ring forms at least a part of mentioned holding means and deactivating means, and distal position, in which mobile ring forms at least a part of said blocking means.

EFFECT: invention application ensures automatic introduction into action of blocking means and high degree of safety, actually due to system of ensuring safety of needle unit in accordance with invention no additional actions are required from user for bringing blocking means in action, and user does not have a possibility to unlock blocking means if needle unit is in condition of termination of use.
