SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. The invention represents a mutant of penicillin acylase (Penicillin G acylase) from E.coli, containing a substitution of a residue of asparaginic acid of a beta-chain enzyme in position 484 (numeration starts with the first amino acid residue of the beta-chain, containing 557 amino acid residues) with an asparagine residue.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain penicillin acylase with improved catalytic properties.
