SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic video surveillance, which is carried out by a computer system through a colour television camera with all-round view in a region closer to a hemisphere, i.e. in a solid angle of 360 degrees on the azimuth and tens of degrees on the angle of elevation. The method is carried out using as the photodetector a target crystal in the form of a circular ring, and providing high sensitivity of the device by implementing an additional scanner function in the television camera.
EFFECT: eliminating redundant channel bandwidth for communication of the television camera with a server.
