SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass compositions for obtaining fibreglass. An R-glass composition, including SiO2 in an amount of 59.0-60.93 wt %, Al2O3 in an amount of 14.5-20.5 wt %, CaO in an amount of 11.0-16.0 wt %, MgO in an amount of 5.5-11.5 wt %, Na2O in an amount of 0.0-4.0 wt %, TiO2 in an amount of 0.0-2.0 wt %, B2O3 in an amount of approximately 0.0-3.0 wt %, K2O, Fe2O3, ZrO2 and fluorine, each in an amount of approximately 0.0-1.0 wt %, as well as SrO and ZnO, each in an amount of approximately 0.0-2.0 wt %.

EFFECT: obtaining the higher Young modulus, low temperature of moulding and sufficiently large difference between the moulding temperature and the liquidus temperature.
