SUBSTANCE: in this method earlier arranged objects, the locations of which are known, are used as reference points for industrial vehicle control. The method includes identification of one of versions of the work beginning by the information of sensors with the use of: either distinctive reference points, or earlier arranged objects, the locations of which are known. After identification of the version of the work beginning the location of the distinctive marker or earlier arranged object, the location of which is known, is identified, and the distinctive marker or earlier arranged object corresponds to certain zone of the physical medium. The position of the industrial vehicle is obtained according to the identified earlier arranged object or the distinctive marker, and the industrial vehicle is controlled according to its obtained position.

EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of locating the industrial vehicles.
