FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: application: in the field of power engineering. An accumulator of electric energy is united with a secondary power supply source supplying energy to an eclectic distribution network. Charge and discharge behaviour of the electric energy accumulator is controlled so that rapid increase at the output of the secondary power supply source is absorbed by a storage system while rapid decrease at the output of the secondary power supply source is compensated by the discharge of the stored energy to the network. Joined contributions of the secondary power supply source and the energy storage system ensure the condition at which the rate of change does not exceed the preset level. Maximum and minimum levels of the output power may be set for the secondary power supply source in order to define the rated operating range. Charge or discharge of the energy storage system is performed when the level of the secondary output power is out of the limits of the set range.
