FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: anti-factor H IgG antibodies are sorbed in microarray wells; a sample containing functionally active factor H of interest is added to the microarray wells and incubated to enable immunochemical binding of factor H to the antibodies on the well surface; after the wells are washed, a preparation of component C3 is added into the microarray wells; after incubating once again and washing the wells, an amount of the component C3 bound to active molecules of factor H by means of anti-C3 antibodies conjugate with an enzyme, and a chromogenic substrate for this enzyme. Factor H activity is evaluated by the amount of the enzymatic reaction product.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables evaluating the functional activity of human complement factor H and possesses good result reproducibility.
