FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: level of viral loading in saliva is determined in child with established diagnosis "chronic cytomegaloviral infection, reactivation phase" before therapy, after three and six months of treatment by method of CMV DNA amplification in quantitative PCR. If viral loading decreases after treatment course by 2 log10 and more, conclusion about high therapy efficiency is made, if VL decreases by more than 1 log10, but less than 2 log10 - about moderate efficiency, if VL decreases by less than 1 log10 - about low treatment efficiency.
EFFECT: increase of method sensitivity and its non-invasiveness.
