FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to infectious diseases, and can be used for diagnosing congenital viral foetal disease. That is ensured by measuring the specific IgM and IgG antibodies in blood of the pregnant women, and if the specific IgM value is more than the sensitivity threshold, the viral load is quantitatively determined by the polymerase chain reaction method more than twice. If its value is more than 104 copies in ml of blood serum, ultrasound monitoring of the foetus is performed in a mode of screening with interval of 2 weeks, and if observing the visualized signs of the foetus on the gestation period of 20 weeks and more, a cordocentesis is performed with subsequent sampling of umbilical blood for PCR analysis. If observing visual signs of foetal affection, detection of IgM to viruses in combination with positive results of PCR in blood of pregnant and umbilical blood of foetus for 20 weeks and more, congenital viral foetal disease is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method enables preventing the birth of children with severe organ disturbances and reducing infant mortality from infectious diseases suffered in utero by timely prenatal diagnostics.
