The latter is built around separated image unit for encoding with compression. It incorporates the means for encoding of quantization step sizes for control over quantization detailed elaboration degree. Note here that said means for encoding of quantization step sizes computes said quantization step size that controls the quantization detailed elaboration degree by selective application of quantization step size assigned to as-encoded adjacent image unit or quantization step size assigned to image unit encoded directly there ahead.
