FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: first-aid treatment of soft tissue injuries involves application of a wipe impregnated with 20-25% ice-cold glucose onto an injured surface directly. Fluid soaking after the ice application is wiped slightly with the injured surface left wet. The wipe is made of a biologically inert wet-strong frost resistant material. The absorbent wipe can be folded several times. The wipe is placed in a container, a barrier bag of packaging.
EFFECT: reducing acute post-traumatic pain and oedema of soft tissues.
