FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic transducer as an essential part of an ultrasonic flowmeter, having a transducer housing, having an ultrasonic window, a housing tube and a housing flange, and a transducer element for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves and provided either near the ultrasonic window of the transducer housing, or further from the ultrasonic window of the transducer housing. A relatively soft mechanical interface system is provided, preferably having one loosely coupled mechanical resonator or two loosely coupled mechanical resonators, characterised by that a second soft mechanical interface system is provided. Of the two interface systems, one interface system is situated on the side of the housing flange close to the ultrasonic window, and the other interface system is situated on the side of the housing flange further from the ultrasonic window, wherein the interface system provided on the side of the housing flange close to the ultrasonic window is connected at its end close to the ultrasonic window to the housing tube, and at its end further from the ultrasonic window to the housing flange, and the interface system provided on the side of the housing flange further from the ultrasonic window is connected at its end further from the ultrasonic window to the housing tube, and at its end close to the ultrasonic window to the housing flange.

EFFECT: high resistance of the ultrasonic transducer to vibrations.
