FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine ignition systems, particularly, to control over early timing. Claimed method aims at decreasing the frequency of early ignition by application of preventive evaluation of its origination probability and feedback with respect to occurred early timing. In response to occurrence of early timing symptom fuel mix in engine cylinder can be enriched at engine limited load. Fuel enrichment can be succeeded by depletion to recover the oxygen level in exhaust gases for catalysis. Suppression of early timing can be controlled with due allowance for engine operating conditions, counter of early timing occurrences and its character.
EFFECT: eliminated early timing.
