FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power supply systems, in particular, to DC-to-DC converters of preset polarity with voltage of level higher and lower than voltage of power supply source, and may be used for active load supplying with potential energy recuperation. The claimed device is completed with auxiliary diode, transistor and capacitor. Variation of transistor operation on-off ratio allows variation or stabilization of output voltage level with change in voltage polarity relative to input voltage as well as adjustment of power supply charge current of accumulated active load power. Thus, reversible inverting direct voltage converter has balanced architecture relative to input and output and may pass electric energy in both directions.
EFFECT: implementation of DC-to-DC converter of preset polarity with voltage of level higher and lower than voltage of power supply source as well as potential energy recuperation from active load to power supply source for the purpose of its charging.
