FIELD: veterinary science; fodder production.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in feeding farm animals, fodder production and represents a fodder additive, containing zinc ethylenediaminetetraacetate and an amino acid component, wherein the weight fraction of zinc is 11.88%, and the amino acid component is threonine, tryptophan, lysine and methionine. Method of producing such a feed additive for animals is characterized by that zinc ethylenediaminetetraacetate is obtained by dissolving 0.618 mol of Na2[H2C2H4N2(CH2COO)4]·2H2O in 1 liter of boiling distilled H2O with 0.62 mol of ZnO, a turbid solution is formed, which must be filtered on a Nutch-filter, then the obtained transparent solution is evaporated to form a high-viscosity solution and dried at temperature of 110 °C, calculated formula of the obtained product Na2[ZnC2H4N2(CH2COO)4], then 646.22 g of HO2CCH(NH2)CH2CH2SCH3 is weighed on an analytical balance ViBRA HT 224 RCE, introduced into a mortar, ground and rubbed against the pores of the mortar, 9.69 mg of C11H12N2O2 is weighted, mixed, ground, 64.62 g of HO2CCH(NH2)CH(OH)CH3 is weighed, mixed, ground, 323.11 g of HO2CCH(NH2)(CH2)4NH2 is weighed, mixed, ground, 48.955 g of Na2[ZnC2H4N2(CH2COO)4] is weighed, mixed, ground, then the powder is collected into the center of the mortar with a scraper, pressed by the pestle, marking at distance of 25 cm that the powder is homogeneous without inclusions and shine, placed in a container, and a label is glued.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a target additive with high output, high bioavailability and stability.
