FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary sanitation of an anatomical object and its injection infiltration with an embalming solution. The solution contains 7% formalin with thymol added at 1-2 g per 10 litres. The object is immersed in the solution for 1.5-2 months. On the first day of use, a preserving solution is prepared with the use of a liquid concentrate with the object to be transferred therein. The concentrate represents a mixture of dialkanol-substituted dimethylhydantoin and hydantoin in ratio 20:1 and 3-iodine-2-propynylbutylcarbamate in the concentration of 0.29-0.39%. The fresh solution is supplied every 6 months. For the purpose of public exhibition, the specimen is taken out of the solution.
EFFECT: safer and more effective storage and exhibition of the anatomical specimen.
