FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns storage-stable dental care compositions keeping their ability to clean and whiten teeth effectively. The compositions contain cross-linked polyvinyl pyrrolidone along with hydrogen peroxide in a combination with ethylene oxide and propylene oxide block copolymer with an average molecular weight of more than 5,000 Da and with a calcium abrasive (e.g. calcium abrasive or calcium carbonate). The above ethylene oxide and propylene oxide block copolymer contains (ethylene oxide)x-(propylene oxide)y, wherein x represents an integer equal to 80-150, whereas y represents an integer equal to 30-80. Besides, the compositions contain certain amounts of propylene glycol and glycerol. Versions of the composition also contain a stabilising amount of additional linear and/or cross-linked polyvinyl pyrrolidone. Several versions of the composition can contain less than 3% of water.
